Welcome Letter from our Founder

People who know me would probably agree that I’m not a writer or am I the type of person who would lavish praise on myself or my business. It’s just not who I am. But here’s something I do want you to know. Growing up in Stamford to a large hardworking family, I learned very young that there is only one way to work, and that’s to work hard to the best of my abilities. 

I also learned that there are two ways to conduct yourself. The first is working through people, and the second is working with people. If you’ve ever had a pushy salesperson, a mean boss, or a rude waiter, then you know what I’m talking about. I decided early on that working hard to satisfy customers was the only way to go for me, and I’ve stuck to that philosophy ever since.

Stamford Home Oil is the culmination of those efforts over the last forty years. While growth is always important, we’ve made it a point to get to know our customers personally, because the customers are what matter most. We’ve all seen big oil delivery companies come in touting “Service for all your energy needs”. While we’re happy to recommend a great local plumber or electrician if you need it, we focus on keeping your family warm no matter what winter dishes out, doing whatever it takes to keep you comfortable.

For those of you who are new to the area or are considering a change because you don’t feel you’re getting a fair price or the service you deserve, we welcome your call to find out what a neighborhood oil company really means. I’m always happy to make new acquaintances.
